The trip to Mabul Island was also extraordinary. I stayed at a Borneo lodge run by a very friendly team of diver instructors who know how to have fun and prepare a good barbecue. For dinner there was stingray and I even played guitar again. I celebrated Easter on the lodge’s deck with couple of French, English, Swiss and Malay people taking a PADI course and enjoyed the beautiful sunsets. I also met three Hawaiians to complete the whole island feeling.
All in all, it was a superb week and I truly thank all the people I got to meet while diving Sipadan. We saw turtles, sharks, barracudas and tons of other fishes. Mabul diving was also amazing with loads of colorful marine life.
